Last updated: August 2026. SalaryWorthIt is a static website. We don't collect, store, or sell your personal information. Your salary inputs never leave your browser. We don't use cookies, analytics, or tracking.

What we collect

Nothing. All calculations happen entirely in your browser using JavaScript. We don't have a database, we don't track users, and we don't store any input data you enter on the site.

Cookies and local storage

We use a single localStorage item to remember your dark/light mode preference. This stays on your device and is never sent to us. No cookies are set by SalaryWorthIt.

Third-party services

• Cloudflare Pages - hosts the static site. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, user agents, request timestamps) for security and performance to deliver the site. We don't access or store any of this data - it stays with Cloudflare. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

External data

Salary data comes from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and cost-of-living data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis - both public government datasets. We do not transmit any personal data to these agencies.

Children's privacy

SalaryWorthIt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
